The font was also used in Microsoft Comic  when it was released in 1996 along with Internet Explorer 3.0. July 2010 came in with new versions titled Comic Sans 2010 which included two new fonts: Italic and Bold Italic.

Just like “Poker Face” or the acronyms “OMG,” comic sans is getting into everyones nerves. It has inspired many to create a Facebook hate page because it’s “irritably simple” and childlike.
